Pokerclub Section - Any need to keep it open?

As this part of the site has dried up completely, is there any need to keep it open?? I noticed as well, that Facebook has cleared off all the GTA poker rooms that were advertising on there. Must be something going on behind the scenes.

  • Fold it in with the B & M section, in case someone does not want to rely on word of mouth? Possibly as a sub-section? Just a thought. Or just kill it outright.
  • PF.ca has a facebook page? link anyone?

I was referring to individual poker clubs that use to have Facebook pages but they seemed to have disappeared.
  • Thanks JAH... I have been holding off until I got some more feedback... anyone else?

I agree that wrapping it into the B&M section may be the best solution.
  • At the time, it was separated because the B&M games were mostly casino based, and the club games were underground. With the rush of clubs being forced to close in the past year, no one is interested in announcing their clubs or their games out in the open.

Personally, I see no sense in keeping this board open at all, and merging it with the B&M board makes sense.

    Now we do:

    http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=12647725933
  • At the same time, I think it is prudent to tell the clubs to NOT advertise on pokerforum.ca, considering that we know that the cops monitor the website.

One of the arresting officers in "The Office" case went so far as to brag to the press that one of their leads was the advertising on pokerforum.ca
  • It is now a sub-forum for B&M. Eventually we can just move the posts into that section...any thoughts?

never heard that before; is there a link to this story? Poker clubs are like weeds; pick a couple and you get four more.
