Celebrity Tournament at the Playboy Mansion - Anyone got $1500?

There is a celebrity tournament coming up at the Playboy Mansion. It is open to the public and anyone can get in for just $1500!

So far, Doyle Brunson, Todd Brunson, Hoyt Corkins and Pam Brunson have all confirmed, but I am sure there will be a lot more big name players there.

One of my dreams has always been to go to the Playboy Mansion.... combine with poker, this could be some serious fun!

Anyone planning to go?

    I went last year, and HAD A BLAST! The poker tournament is fast, because it starts late, has to wrap up by midnight. The food is amazing, the booze is included (tip the bartenders, don't be a cheapass), and yeah, there are a few chicks around... bunnies, body painted chicks, regular hotties...
    I stayed at the Sheraton, so did Mike Matusow, Bryan Devonshire, Marcel Luske, and a few other pros. DEFINITELY worth the $$$, just to say you were playing poker at "the mansion" on a Saturday night!!

    How long did the party go for? Is it an all-night thing? Any wild stories from the grotto?

    When they say midnight...they MEAN midnight...the place shuts down, get in your ride, beat it. Go hard until that point, cuz then its back to the hotel. As far as the grotto... no swimwear required... ask Devo about it if you go, he's thinking about going again. I wanted to do a Scott Baio, but no takers :(

    A true friend would not let you get into that sort of situation w/o back-up. I hereby volunteer to scout out the terrain, and report back on any suspicious activity I might be involved in. I mean OBSERVE . . . yeah OBSERVE. lol

    Well, seein' as I'm STILL in the bad book with the mrs. (yours, since I'm the evil single guy)...maybe next year, after I make SCADS OF CASH FROM WHAT I LEARNED AT THE ULTIMATE CRAP RIPOFF TOUR (sorry, had to throw that in).

    Thats really disappointing to hear... I would definitely consider going if it was a real all night party type thing, but booting people out at midnight kinda sucks. Either way I am still extremely jealous you went! Thanks for sharing!

    Yea, it kinda did suck, but by that time, everyone was so boozed up on the pre-paid liquor, it was a good thing.
    If this year's event wasn't on our long weekend, which is nearly impossible for me to get off, I'd go again for sure.
