Lavocato has 1500ish chips after the flop, claud had 590. Pot is 1275. Im a trying to think of any hand that Lavocato could have where the raise min reraise then fold post flop play works. At the same time what hand can claud has where he raises then calls a reraise without going all in there (since normally one would assume there is almost no fold equity post flop anyways)

Basically this kind of felt like collusion/chip sharing, though I don't really see that being a smart option given their stacks either, so frankly I was just utterly puzzled. Maybe just strange bad play by both players? It certainly had my head scratching afterwards.

Comments

  • AJ+ and he's a timid little bunny when he misses.
  • He could have had a pocket pair like 99 55 or 66 or higher.... but not too sure? Strange min raise preflop. The bet on the flop almost seems like he wants someone to call, or knows the opponents are scared and will most likely fold to any bet if they didnt hit.
