Any good strategies for Razz Poker?
Hello to all the poker lovers. I am genuinely interested in poker games but the area I am keenly interested is Razz Poker. I have been trying my hand on this and I have developed a liking for this. I want to be good at this game and for this I would like to know any good strategies that can help me to be a better player.
Hope that you people would help your poker friend.

I avoid it!!
Seriously, when I do play it, I have a difficult time, but I do know many who love the game, so I'm sure they can provide you with some insight. The only way I play the game is part of HORSE, and then I"m playing only good starting hands like (34)5 or better, something that has a decent shot of improving.
Position is key. If you have an Ace up and you are behind the bring-in and it is folded to you it is basically a license to steal.
Avoid hands that have an 8 or higher, also the closer you are to the bring in the better you want you cards to be.
Avoid hands that need you to catch cards that are out. (For example 7-5-3 and you see a bunch or Aces, twos and fours for the up cards.)
The major betting points in the game are 3rd street (determining whether or not to play the hand) and 5th street (the betting doubles on 5th and if you see 5th then you pretty much have to see 6th for pot odds.)
Also learn to read the board, study other player’s hands and try to figure out what is the best possible hand they could have. For example if a player has X-X-7-8-9-6-X the best they could have is 7-6 high. Do this while not in the hand for practise.
"there are two generally accepted theories about how to catch a knuckleballer. Unfortunately, neither of them works".
I think the same thinking applies here.
I remember watching a WSOP RAzz final table a few years back with Cloutier, Lederer, and Dutch Boyd.
Lederer literally looked near tears with frustration half the time.
