Another noobie introduction...
Hi from the backwoods of northeastern BC. I'm Kas, and I'm glad to find this forum. (I'm a regular lurker at 2+2, but the professional grinders there are intimidating!)
You'll find me tilting the microstakes at Stars, FTP, (as Kasrielle) and Party (under the name PokerBard111.) I've only been playing a couple of years, and can count on my fingers the number of times I've played at a B&M Casino. (The closest one is an hour away and only has a couple of tables, so getting to play is an adventure in itself.) When I'm in Vancouver for work I'll play at River Rock, and at the Treasure Cove in Prince George when I'm there.
My biggest claim to fame  is busting out last year within distant sight of the bubble at the Women's Poker Open in Langley. It was my first (and only) major tourney and I was happy to not embarass myself!

Welcome to the site... I love BC, its so nice out there. Just got back from pushing someones car that was stuck in all the snow we've been gettin over here in Toronto... its awful... would love to be out there right now.
If you need anything, let me know, and welcome to the site!

Welcome the forum sista'...don't worry they're more scared of us than we are of them. (and rightly so!)
Hey now..this is not a dating site..no a/s/l yet
I live in Dawson Creek, a small town of about 15,000 that is 35k from the Alberta border. Grande Prairie, AB is the city an hour away with the casino. Dawson Creek is the southernmost place in the BC oil patch, and is famous for being "Mile 0" of the Alaska Highway.
So I'm far and away from being able to play live poker on any regular basis, and admit that I get pretty intimidated when I walk into the poker room at one of the big casinos down south. And it's probably a good thing - the last time I was at a casino I was at the table for a good 8 hours straight. (Luckily I left with more $ than when I started!)
And don't worry - I'm not looking for any hookups! LOLOL I'm very happily married and probably the same as as some of your moms...!
Corrected your post.
Welcome to the forum
LOLOL
Actually, you wouldn't believe the number of questions I get at the tables about whether Dawson's Creek is a real place... I have to correct them about the name of my town...
LOL... hilarious! My thoughts exactly!
