Message From Blazin
I didn't want this to get lost in the shuffle so I hope you don't mind me posting it here Graham.
I visited Cam today at Sunnybrook and spent some time talking with him.
He asked me to relay the following:
Thanks from him and his family to everyone who has written on the forum, phoned, e mailed etc to show their support and concern during this time.
He indicated that he is feeling a lot better over the weekend. He will probably be relocated to a rehab hospital at some point this week. It is expected that he will be there approximately 2 to 4 weeks.
Special note to SirWatts: Congrats he was routing for you, and knows it's only time before you break through and win one of those WPT tourney.
Again thanks to everyone

Thanks Joe, for taking the time to visit him, I'm sure he appreciated it. I wanted to as well, but other commitments had me tied up. Hopefully I can get over to see him soon though.
I have made this a sticky as many members on this forum are good friends with Cam and I was unaware of the original thread. Though we have never met I hope you get better soon and will see you back on the forums soon. By the sounds of Joe's post you are on your way to a positive recovery!
Hopefully I can make it out to one of your games one day!
Graham
I am letting people know what's going on. I visited him today and gave the message he gave. I know a lot of people care so I thoiught I should inform them. I know within 2 months I will see Cam at the tables.
Thank you.
I did however play a few West Side tourney's before moving west and thought he did an excellent job of running those. By all indications he is an excellent guy, and a good friend to many in the poker community.
Get well soon sir.
I re posted Acid Joe's information on my Facebook page as well. Thought it was an excellent bit of info to share.
The road to recovery is a long one, but I am sure you will pull through with flying colours.
Once you are feeling better, give me a shout, I have a little "insider tip" on a possible new job for you.
And remember this, one week after my little hospital visit 2 years ago, I won the $5R on PokerStars. Maybe it's a good thing.

We've played a few time but whatever. Get well. My brother-in-law suffered a stroke a few years ago at 28. It takes time to heal but it does happen. You're young and determined enough to get through it.
He still has some side effects but overall he is better. The most important thing is to keep a sense of humour about it. You can find him playing Poker Stars as "first_stroke". Most people think it is a sexual name.
Anyway, get better.

Keep it up Cam.
Hoping to see you soon!!!
