Would just like to introduce myself to the group. My name is John Parks (soletitbe) and i'm very,very new to poker and never played any high stacks games as of yet. So far i only played Hold'um . Started out on Full Tilt playing for play money but had to leave because my neighbour was driving me crazy asking for transfers, so i gave him the 8 million (play money) i had and went to Poker Stars in late Oct. 2007. Won $5 in a freeroll and built it up to $29+ before making my first real money deposit in mid Dec. 2007 and i,ve been playing in $1 & $2 tournaments and 9 man sit and go's to get my $50 bonus money for earning 500 FPP. Got that a few days ago. Played my first game last night after earning my bonus and that was a $3 + 30 rebuy tournament and placed 30,th for $70.01. So as you can see i got a long way to go.
I,ve been looking for a Canadian site for awhile now and glad to have found this one and be a member. Any Canadian player i seen in high stakes games i was on the rail pulling for them. My hope is to be at the tables in the not to distant future playing in them

I'm from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia and no compuease i,ve never played any live games as yet. Only 20 min. drive from Cosino Nova Scotia in Sydney though so i'll get there some day for sure
