Canadian Poker Player Mag / CPT Folding
Surprised this hasnt been posted here yet
(atleast not that i could find with a search).
I read it on Lou Kreiger's blog
http://loukrieger.blogspot.com
and since he's a contributor to the magazine,
I think its safe to assume its true.
This statement has been released by Fifth Street Publishers:
"Fifth Street Publishers regrets to announce that because of the decline in advertising for Canadian Poker Player Magazine, and lack of sponsorship for the Canadian Poker Tour which is the sole business model of Fifth Street, both assets have become dormant for the time being."
In other words, Canadian Poker Player and the
Canadian Poker Tour is over, a piece of poker history.

The new owner was extremely optimistic on the posted radio interview, but unless he is able to find new major sponsors with poker on a steady decline from its peak, I remain skeptical if there will be enough money to pay Lou Krieger, me and all the people owed money by Fifth Street Publishers.
