Fridge works fine, freezer does not freeze.

It blows cold air, ice maker works but food does not freeze?

Anyone have any ideas, or better yet fix this stuff cheap?

    Obvious smart-ass answer is to check the temp settings, but I'll assume that has been tried. If an older model Fridge/freezer, you may be down on refrigerant is all I got. I f new, pray for warranty coverage. Sorry.

    It's not under warranty, it is already my beer fridge thankfully....but we do use the freezer to store extra food because, well, nobody told me kids ate this much?

    That said, I was reading it may be ice build up on the coils...took it apart and no ice build up fan woorks good so I guess I'll have to call some appliance repair guy?

    Dang....thought someone on this forum would be able to do this stuff?

    How old is the fridge?..your compressor may just need a tune up or possibly a recharge of freeon....maybe

    temperature control?
    Condenser coils dirty?
    Door doesn't close?
    Door Seal works?
    Door Gasket intact?
    Door Switch working?
    Evaporator fan working?
    Evaporator clogged with ice?
