Quick question...

When you guys talk about

25NL or 50NL ... what is that? Is it the max buy-in of the table? Not sure I understand :(

Help!

Thanks

  • 25NL = No limit cash game, $25 buyin, blinds are usually .25/.50
50NL = No limit cash game, $50 buyin, blinds are .50/1.00

    Think you mean...

25NL = No limit cash game, $25 buyin, blinds are usually .10/.25
50NL = No limit cash game, $50 buyin, blinds are .25/.50

At least on PS and FT they are... Max buyin 100xBB

Tilt has also got some deepstack tables as well but they are separated by odd buyins and blinds. These tables have (deep) in the description in the client.

.15/.30 you can buyin for $60 so 200BB
    .40/.80 you buying for $100 again 200BB
    and so on.
  • Yep, that's right..had the blinds wrong
  • Thanks!
    Now I won't feel stupid! :P
  • For the most part, 100NL means 0.50/1...so the number before the NL (#NL) is the max-buy-in..and typically max buy-in is 100x big blind..
  • sometime it can also be use as following
    NL ($0.10) = 10NL = 0.5/0.1NL
    NL ($0.25) = 25NL = 0.10/0.25 NL
    NL ($0.50) = 50NL = 0.25/0.5NL
    NL ($1) = 100NL = 0.5/0.1 NL
