Help with NHL '07

I have NHL '07 (they didn't have '08 and I am too lazy to go get it now) on the XBox 360.

Is there a way to bypass the annoying intro for the controls? it's very long, very boring, very annoying and I want it gone. Is there a way?

    yeah.... if you save an account on your xbox gamer profile it automatically knows that its not your first time launching the game.

    You probably dont have an xbox gamer profile i'm guessin?? if not, you should create one because thats how you save dynasties etc.. they all are related to your profile....

    If thats not the reason then you should just drop everything and go to EB games and get nhl08, it is serioulsy 200x better.......
