    1.64x average
  • Nice gutshot Al :D
  • Good job so far Al. A couple of nice scoops in Omaha. It looks like it is going to be a late night for you. I look forward to reading about your success in the morning.

Remember that Full Tilt automatically shuffles the cards before showing in 7 card games. If it's the hand i think you are talking about, I actually had the straight in 5 cards

    Break 3... 11th out of 311

    18,052 in chips (2.25x average)

I just remembered seeing the 6 after you turned your hand over to make the straight. I might've misread the hand though since your game is just running as one of my few tables opened...
  • Break #4:

    16th of 145

    29,910 in chips (1.74x average)

Highlight: I had Andy Bloch at the table for about 1/2 this round. He was lower than starting stack though, so nothing too interesting.

    81 more to the money!
  • Break #5:

    14th of 72

    8 more to the money!!

    51,953 in chips (1.5x Average)
  • 4th with 48 players remaining!!

At least 1.5k in prize money
  • Take it down Al!

    /g2
  • Break 6:

    14th out of 30

71,273 in chips (83% of average)

    prize money is at $1931.80

Jumps to $2242.80 at 24 players
  • Well, it's over...

I flopped top 2 pair with QJ, big stack calls with AK and then hits a 10 on the turn.

    16th place... $2,647.75

Not bad for an entry from a $55 satellite :-)

Thanks to all who cheered me on... especially Cole who badgered the tables I was at all night long!!

(PS - For some reason his spelling is better when he is typing live in the windows?!?)

It was fun to do well in a tournament of that size, and play against the pros that I did (Andy Bloch, Michael Craig, Bill Edler)
