"Mike "timex" McDonald, the recent winner of $1.4 million USD is being sued for trademark infringement by the Timex Corp for 6.5 million."

I think Diddy is right, that's 5% of your total investment per yr. As long as it grows more than that you're good. Nothing to do with where you live, rather what you invest in...

guess it really depends on your standard of living; lets see how he does down the road. Obviously we hear about all his cashes, but not the times he doesn't cash in big events. My personal opinion, he is better off back at U of W.
  • Pretty soon when you're sitting at a poker table and your opponents ask you where you're from, if you tell them WATERLOO - it's gonna send chills down their spine, and strike the fear of GOD in them.
  • SMOOTH55 I just want to know what you said when you were drunk on page 3.

OMG you are clueless aren't you. Let me try and help with your reading comprehension.
With modest investments you can essentially spend 1/2 of any amount of capital every 10 years, and have it last you forever.

Why do you keep discussing expenses? He is talking about ROI.
  • ahhhh,, Moose. You beat me to it. I was debating whether or not to even try and explain it. It didn't seem like it was getting through.

Something stupid that I didn't mean to post.
Dumb comment that only would come out of me when I'm hammered.

If I remember correctly, it was in response to the comment earlier about not many women in waterloo. Waterloo is full of math geeks who never get laid, blah blah blah.

My point is, these days it would be difficult to live on $1MM for the rest of your life, especially from the age of 18. If you disagree, I guess I am clueless.

Jah: I've got a problem with that because roses are red.
Moose: Yep, the two sure are related to each other. NOT!
