PokerForum.ca and PokerTrillion.com partnership

Hi everyone,

I'm really excited to announce that PokerForum.ca is now in an exclusive partnership with PokerTrillion.com

PT will have exclusive marketing on the forum and will host weekly 'members only tournaments' which will be password protected. PokerTrillion is a UK site which plays/pays in EUR. These will be in addition to the ones Wes setup but after Feb 17th, no 'official' CPF tournaments will be held outside of PokerTrillion.com

The fact that the site deals in EUR currency (don't worry, you can still play USD tables) but a big change is that, for as long as this alliance is in place, members will now be receiving 10EUR instead of $10USD for their CPF dollars.

This alliance gives Pokerforum.ca an actual working budget which is something it's never really had in the past, so I'm very excited about what this will bring for everyone.

If you've already got an account on the BOSS network, kindly create a new one on PokerTrillion.com (part of the network with Paradise etc) The member tournament will be announced shortly and PokerTrillion.com is adding 100EUR to the first event (about $150USD) and these are the kinds of rewards that can finally be offered on a regular basis now that we're working with a site that actually awards and recognizes our patronage. To redeem CPF bucks on PokerTrillion for EUR, please email info@pokerforumcanada.com I'll need your nickname on PokerTrillion.com for the credit to take place.

  • What about the cash I have on Solar Poker?

Because I didn't deposit it, rather you gave me some that I have grown into a little bit more, is withdrawing that going to be a problem? I haven't withdrawn from Solar yet so I have no idea what it's like.

I was thinking along the lines of withdrawing from there and depositing on PT.
  • I would simply make a deposit and then withdraw. I did the same thing and there wasn't any problems...well...except the withdrawal took almost 2 weeks, but thats it ;)
  • Same here.
Made a small deposit then WD.

I still play there once in a while though.
  • Hello,

  • So should be create an account in Euros or US$? I have never been there so I don't know.
  • It is Supreme in different colours? (I'm going to request some cpf bux transferred...but does anyone know what the conversion rate is?)

    Edit:
...and Kristy_Sea is taken already!!!!!!! Who in their right minds would want to be mistaken for me?

It's on the same network. So Kristy_Sea is your supreme (or paradise) account.

    Right now 1 euro = CDN$1.47

  • When we sign up do we need to use a sign up code or anything similar so that Pokerforum gets some credit?
  • no I was wondering about cpf bux to euros?
  • So to use your rake and play in the main event you would need to pay $5000 (€3250). To get $5000 in Rakeback, you would need to rake $16750 (€11500) and the ticket is yours!

For smaller players we have a WSOP mini package at a 25% discount. This includes entry to $1500 event 55 and a $1000 Super satellite. The Poker Trillion price for this is $1960 (€1315) which would need less than €4500 in rake to generate. Some of you would do this in a month maybe?

Again, discounted live events are all in your players area.
The sponsor section is locked from members' replies, so I will ask my questions here.

    1) WSOP Event #55 on July 7-8 is the one I plan to play, but the buy-in is U$500, not U$1500. Can I still get the 25% discount for WSOP Event #55 + $1K Super Satellite mini package? Will the Poker Trillion rakeback price for this be something like U$1,125 (1500 * 75%), with me needing to play enough to generate a total rake of U$3,750?

    2) Does your "$1000 Super satellite" mean the U$1,060 Mega Satellites for the Main Event being held at Rio Casino until July 4?

    3) If you don't have enough rakeback, can you use cash to pay for the remainder of the discounted live tournament? For example, if I have U$4,500 rakeback, can I add $500 in cash to get a Main Event seat?

    4) Can I read the fine print for these discounted live tournament without having to sign up? For example, what is the URL for the full list of live events eligible?

    200 cpf = 10 euros then
  • Holy Crap I'm rich!

Create an account in your currency. This way you will not have any conversion charges with your bank or your e-wallet.

Just click on a banner on the forum. Before you do tho, its a good idea to delete your cookies. This is important is you have had an account with another Boss partner.

    1. My mistake. Our mini package is event 52. A $1500 event is about €1020. The super Sats are $1060 or about €721. Total os €1740.

We discount this by 25% so total Rakeback in Euros needed is €1305 (exchange rate dependant)

Everyone gets 30% Rakeback, so to generate the €1305 you would need to rake €4370.

    2. We are pretty flexible with these. All players who take this package will meet Trillion at the Rio where they will be paid into the €1500 event. You will then have a choice of $1000 sat from 1st July until the main event begins.

    3. No - You need to pay only with Rakeback.

    4. The current live events are on this URL http://pokertrillion.com/players-area/?pageId=6 excuse the page error.

The T+C's for this offer are here : http://pokertrillion.com/terms-and-conditions/index.cfm#perc50

    Hope this helps.

do you need to have a minimum amount or just the required 200? And seeing as I've never done it before, how do you go about receiving your euros?

  • not sure where to ask this Q so i m asking it here.. what are cpf bux and how do i convert them into cash on my PT account
  • Anyone have any feedback on PT yet? I liked Solar, very very soft games, but never enough people on to fill a 10 person table at any stakes. And the tournys, let's not even go there, ok I will...

The biggest tourny they had that I saw was 22 people, and they all paid a whopping $1.00 entry. $5.00 tournys? Forget about it.

Hopefully PT will be more more populated.

    BTW....

    GO GIANTS!
    (down 7-3 as I write)

I have created an account but haven't had a chance to go on as this has been a busy weekend. I would imagine the games there will be similar to Supreme as they are both on the BOSS network, should definitely have more traffic than Solar...
