Roger's Torrent Speeds Through the Roof!

what's going with Rogers? I use to have top torrent download speeds of like 20 kB/s, but now they are running at close to 400 kB/s! Is this going to last forever or should I make the most of it? Anyone else notice an increase in download speeds?

    You probably just started downloading mainstream content as opposed to obscure crap that few people are sharing. I've had 400kb/s+ for months in Waterloo, and 600+ in Ottawa.

    I consider 400 slow .... sometimes I get 1200 to 1400kbps.

    The bad thing is I used up 100 Gigs of bandwidth by the 8th of this month....

    "Unlimited" downloads is actually 60 Gigs for Cogeco.
    Now I can't wait for the end of the month so i can download some more.

    maybe that is true, most of these great rates are downloads off of poker bay. Wish the rest of the torrents were as quick.

    Off pokerbay 400 should be the minimum. As reef says, 1000+ should be usual because there won't be many other leechers trying to get the same file.

    I usually get like 20 as well so I don't torrent much.
