Superbowl Poker Events

Casino Niagara is hosting a $10,000 Pokerbowl tournament this Sunday, along with a $20 Tailgate Party.
As usual, this Ontario casino tournament was not properly publicized (unless you happened to be at their poker room). There were no seats available by the time I heard about it and phoned, but if you phone 1-877-777-9178, there is a possibility of them opening more seats.

I know of at least three other special poker events on Superbowl Sunday. I plan to go to one of them in the early afternoon, and possibly heading over to Niagara or Seneca Casino at night.

  • I thought this would mean a $10k stack tournament but it looks like you start with a 1,000 in chips. Run the stats and I think you will find its not really a great structure. If there are any decent tournaments running on Sunday, please PM me the details. Thanks.
  • Has anybody seen a 2/5 NL table going on at Casino Niagara recently? I phoned today to confirm that there will still be cash game tables going on during Sunday's tournament. There are only 4 tables running as of right now, all 1/2.
  • Last time I was there (first week after new years) they had 1 2/5 table going.

    I played at niagara yesterday.

    6 1/2 nl tables running.

    Zero 2/5

2/5 game was going at seneca.
totally different crowd. everyone dresses like a homeless person.
Seneca also spreads 7 card stud 1-5 bet and 3-6 kill omaha limit 8.
  • I was at Rama on Friday and they had at least two 2/5 tables going (I think 3) and it was actually more popular than 1/2 for some reason.
