Lookin for Omaha

Long time lurker, first time poster...

Anyways, Im wondering if anyone can tell me if Fallsview, Casino Niagara, or Seneca have Omaha games regularly? I know the Blue Heron does, but I can't play there. I normally play in Brantford, but would LOVE to be able to play Omaha live.

I dont want to drive all the way there in 'hopes' of there being a game. Ive checked their websites and some have said they have Omaha, but since you guys actually play in these casinos on a regular basis, you would know if it was a regular thing, or just once in a blue moon.

Im interested in limit, but I would play Pot Limit. And definately Omaha High, none of that hi/lo baloney.

Any info you guys have, would be greatly appreciated.

    The only one I know is at Seneca

    they play Limit Omaha Hi/Lo with a kill. it's 3/6 Limit, and if a pot gets scooped and is over $55 (I believe) it's a kill next hand.. 6/12

    I'm not aware of any Omaha high in any Ontario casino and I've played in most. All will say they spread it but if you don't get any others wanting to play, no game... As Dr Tyore says O8 limit at Seneca goes quite regularily on weekend evenings so if that's not good enough then you're left with home games that you organize yourself. Even in Vegas you won't find any Omaha high except perhaps at some very high limits that are spread because of demand. There's one $70. Omaha High pot limit tournament at Caesars on Mondays at 5PM, but that's it. Lots of O8 limit at Orleans everyday.

    Im planning on going to Seneca in the near future so I guess Ill just play it by ear. Not much of a fan of hi/lo but I might give it a go.

    And someone said there isnt any Omaha High games in Ontario...The Great Blue Heron in Port Perry almost always has an Omaha game going. Its normally a 20/40 limit game though. The odd time it might be 10/20, and sometimes there's a mixed game Holdem/Omaha.

    Cant believe no where else has it :(

    Where are you from?

    I ask because there are several members of this forum who love Omaha. Maybe one (or you!) would be willing to host a game. That way there is no rake, you can meet new people, play in your pajamas, etc.

    I was talking to a guy on monday night who said Sarnia spreads Omaha games. But that the time he went down the poker room was pretty dead.

    So I just heard from a couple guys at work tonight, that Rama now has Omaha. (They did a long time ago, but werent licensed for it, so they had to stop)

    Just wondering if anyone has played there and has any information. Their website says - Casino Rama is Canada’s first commercial casino to open a Poker room and features Texas Hold’em, Omaha High-low Split '8 or Better'

    Anyone know if they have Omaha High available or pot limit. I also heard it was only going to be on Sundays and Wednesdays, but that seems odd?

    So any info would be great....thanks again
