Card Question?

I'm looking to order some cards online and I am trying to decide whether to get KEM or COPAG cards. Would the people who have used these cards please give me some pro's and con's and a recommendation of another brand that may be better!!

Copaqs are cheaper in terms of price. They are also built a bit thinner then KEMs. KEMs are used by most (if not all casinos) IIRC. I personally like Copaqs but you can't go wrong with either or. Why don't you order some samples and then decide? Or maybe 1 of each?

I have a couple decks of both. I prefer KEMS, but that's a personally opinion. Either deck is great. If you take care of them, they'll stand up after thousands of hands, with little signs of ware.

Go to Caragails.com. My recommend would be Modianos. Better than Copag and Kem, but priced in between. For card reviews check out homepokertourney.com. Apologies to the mods if this sounds like I am shilling.

You'll get used to whichever you buy and they're both fine. I think the kems held up better...but they were used a lot more than yours will be.

Recommendation: Naked lady cards ftw of home games!



I actually think there should be more quality theme cards...

I love the idea of some giant guy pulling out baby-kitten Kems, or some accountant type with a fetish dominatrix deck....but you're screwed unless you want paper. (this is my backwards way of asking if any of you know where to buy these?)

Themed decks are okay. I recently found one from some Art College. All the cards are imprssionist interpretations (I guess, what do I know from art?) of the rank in question. One of the jokers is REAL nice. Would make an interesting tattoo.

Sorry Kristy, but to answer you question, try one of the many adult "toy" shops. They might be able to point you in the right direction.

I don't actually think nice cards and boobies/art/baby kittens co-exist peacefully atm. Though I did get a lovely deck of beef cards from my Bristol st. secret santa.

i purchased copag's online and find they are a little TOO slippery, my friend uses KEM and i would recommend to choose KEM as well. both are good quality.
