Running 8/12 right now. Definitely leading in the overall double now.
Whoa baby. Lagtard chip leader shoved 66 into my AA. I'm running 3/1 right now. Holy Crap.
Next break I think I'm a lock for the Top Double sitting 4/4 with 16/18 left - ugh spoke too soon. Last hand before break Aks vs AA vs kk. FT is rigged. I'm 4/13 now.
It took some ugly folding but I'm the high double winner tonight. Whee!
Went out 11th in the A and 11 left still in the B. I'm 6th.
Out in the B in 8th. Suxors JJ vs AQs.
Still I cashed $139.20 in the A and $205.21 in the B and about $500 for High Double Finish.
Next break I think I'm a lock for the Top Double sitting 4/4 with 16/18 left
I did a quick check, and I think the only one you had to worry about was AcclaimDriver. But he just busted out of both. Go for the double final table Rob!

In A lost A8s vs KJ, with K on river to eliminate me. Then on B, I raised pf with QQ, got shoved on by a smaller stacked KJ and lost with K on river again, dropping me to last or 2nd last. Built my way back up to 3 or 4th in chips, raised pf with JJ, got shoved on by AQs. A on flop. IGHN and count my money.
I could have played looser in A. I calculated that the best jim77 could make was 23, with a 22 on B and 1st in A. Unlikely, but I made the decision to make sure I could do no worse than 22 total. So I made a lot of folds on A that I wouldn't normally late in a tourney. eg. I raised UTG with 99 and got shoved on by the BB and folded. Eventually I had just over 2BB's left, shoved with Acrap and I believe I spiked a 3 outer or ugly straight or something. Waltsfriend may remember. Almost immediately after that I had my 22 locked up so I switched back to aggressive but unfortunately KJo is apparently the nuts late on FT.

Actually, I really wondered what you had in that hand where you raised UG and then folded the BB all-in pre-flop. I think you had A-J of hearts when you down to less than three blinds and had two callers. The amazing thing to me is that you won it (tripled up) with ace high. I couldn't see the other cards, so I have no idea what they had, but I think there was a king and a queen on the board. They must have both come in with middle, suited connectors. The other really unfortunate thing was after you got rivered to go out in 11th, less than five hands later that tournament went to eight players which would have given you the really nice bonus.
Yeah that is why I asked. With that kind of bonus, I would hardly take any risks unless I was in strong positions on both tables. NJ regardless, still a tough tourney to go double deep in.
More than likely because I would have folded my Arag. I had enough chips for 4 orbits to wait out the FT or find something better. At least I went in ahead. If I had shoved behind I would really be crushed.
yeah, tks Moose.....a little too tired at the end.....should have been thinking more on my aggression.
End result 4th = $540.00'ish
Definately play much better tight full table game.....tend to open it up too much short handed. Did suffer 2 bad beats 4 handed....against the same guy. Usually play how I'm running....hot, and I raise most hands.....cold, fold everything but premium.
Was a pretty easy final table....dissappointed in my finish, that's for sure.

If you got knocked out of B first in 8th, wonder if your strategy would change.

I got the bonus!
I saw that you got the best double finish of the day bonus. I meant the double final table bonus. Congratulations is well deserved regardless!
Oh my lord. I'm going to be sick. I didn't realize there was one.
20% of 28k = 5600
I see I was calculating best double finish wrong too. It's the average of your finish.
Sucks you didn't realize.....would it have made any difference in your play?.....ie. would you have made it?
