  • I'd fold to the raise preflop your hand is dominated by a pretty big % of his range (also I would raise instead of limp a lot but I think limping is ok). As played this is fine, sivtec is pretty good iirc and he's got you dead here a whole lot.
  • limping with KQo in EP was probably not the best move. calling the preflop raise after that was not the best move either. that being said, you hit your OESD on the flop and then check/called which was possibly not the best move. i think this hand was played way too weak, especially since you ended up putting in 480 chips (with BB at 30) without even betting or raising once. i tend to subscribe to the philosophy that it's better to bet/raise than check/call most of the time.

despite the weak preflop play, i think you could have bet your OESD on the flop and possibly taken it down, or at least gotten to see the turn for less (i.e. villian could have possibly just called your bet which should have been about half the pot - 225). if he raised this flop bet, you could have folded and lost less anyway, plus you get some fold equity.
  • That's what she said x2

fold this to the raise pf; actually unless I'm pretty comfortable with my table (and that kristy>table) I might just fold this hand outright in your pos.
    but calling is ok.

I would fold crap like KQo, AJo etc in early position. Do you play this kind of hand in early position? Or are you mixing up your game?

I'd fold here you're out of position, you have bad hand.
What sort of range do you think you're ahead of?

I raise here, about 250. If he comes over top of me big, I fold.
You have OESD plus two overcards. The 2 flush is a bit scary ...
If called, I bet again on the turn if a flush card comes representing the flush.

The disadvantage of this line is that you risk getting blown off your very nice draw.
This flop has tons of texture so It's quite likely that he caught a piece of it. Lets find out now. Bet.

  • Unless you play a super LAG game KQo sucks. Even then its easily foldable but its value goes up a bit.
  • I thought I played this awful post flop which is why I posted it. I got the flop I wanted and didn't bet it for some reason.

Pre flop, We have a good lag in lp looking to pick up chips early...I think I am well ahead of his range here.

Choron, At this level, YOU are one of the most lag players I have ever come across and you are open folding KQ here?

So you're limping/calling to isolate the lag *button*?
I hate playing lags out of position.

Is KQo enough to do that out of position?
What range do you put him on?

I put him on a huge range here, but I blew it post flop I think.
