What Does the CR Mean?

Just a quick question about a hand that I played the other night: $0.5/1 LHE 6 max. This was about the third hand I'd played at the table, so no real insight into players.

UTG fold
Me AcQs I raise,
fold
fold
SB calls
BB fold

Flop comes A82 rainbow
SB checks
I bet, he calls.

Turn Kc, putting two clubs on board
He checks, I bet and get C-Rd. I call. (anybody re-raise here? and if so why?)

River
7h
he bets and I call... (anybody raise here? and if so, why?)

What do you expect him to roll-over?

2 pr, a set, some type of pair plus FD hand. Turn 3 bet is ludicrous, it's a call or fold. FWIW, I play it the same, expecting to lose more often than win.
  • A2 AK were my two initial thoughts if he's a pretty standard ABC player, perhaps even some set.
  • Actually, I expect Villian to flip a weaker ace here more often than not.

It's 6 max, so I wouldnt be surprised to see Kx here too.

If you can fold to a cap, a three bet isn't terrible.

Actually, I missed the fact that it was 6 max. Forget folding the turn. Super easy calldown.

I still don't like 3 betting turn. Super aggro villians are apt to make this play with a flush draw, let them bluff off the river when they miss. If you 3 bet turn you set yourself to get CR'd when they hit and fold when they miss.

I'm guessing more likely a weaker ace which might've flopped 2 pair. But can't let go of it for 2 more big bets.
  • He actually rolled over AQo as well and we chopped. My first inclination was that he had a bad ace and had flopped 2 pr, but I thought there was a big enough chance he had an ace with a worse kicker. Thanks!
