Any Blogs of Note?

I enjoy reading blogs of other B&M mid to high limit cash players. There are a few I read and I'm wondering if anyone has some decent blogs to share...either their own or others that they enjoy. Let's start the list:

  • You can do a forum search for the blog sites of several members, including SirWatts and AllAces. I prefer writing about my poker experiences in a poker magazine or in this forum, instead of creating a blog.

Yeah, Sir Watts is mostly a MTT player and AllAces doesn't play much at all...just trying to find some players playing at a similar level to or just above me to read about/learn from.

Why only learn from someone at your level? Watts and Devo have tons of great advice, and experience in WSOP?WPT events and cash games that give me a slight headache:D

    Learn from the Big Boys!
  • Well, what I meant to say was someone playing live cash games on a regular basis to make money other than the 200/400 plo/nlh online players like sbrugby, etc...it is infinitely easier to find MTT blogs than cash-game blogs, thus the reason for my inquiry. It's just interesting for me to read about others' experiences around the same level that I play and a few (monitary) levels above. It seems that most blogs are MTT players taking shots at a cash game here and there or micro limit players who blog for a few months then give it up all together. So, just inquiring for a few more interesting things to read now and then.
  • I'm not sure about blogging, but there are many posts here with HH from several level of cash games.
  • Check the 2+2's blog index...or any of the featured posters on TwoRags are pretty good reads. But again..most are MTT but I'm sure you can find a few where its mainly cash game.
  • I always enjoyed reading GTA Poker's blog. He gave a lot of insight and also some humour to it. Maybe do a forum search for it, but I believe he stopped updating it a year ago. It's too bad really, but I like your blog too, kinda the same style as GTA had.

BTW, I used to be MDSGuy on here, but had to change my name for projectile vomit reasons.

  • Thanks. I checked it out, but it hasn't been updated for over a year...I generally won't bother checking for updates if someone hasn't posted in over a month or two. Projectile vomit?
  • I like SirWatts' blog. I am also looking for more to read, as I am a junkie. twoplustwo.com beats/brags/variance section is an entertaining way to pass the time, but I can't think of anything that would be perfect for you B&M. Let me know if you find anything.

PokerKai also had a good one too, but he hasn't done any updates since mid-Oct as well. His blog was primarily cash games as well.
  • Nice TStone trip report Devin...quote of the day?

I ended up just calling, which is probably pretty bad, but I wanted to see if he could bet again on the turn, because that's what people do on High Stakes Poker.
