Heck yeah I'm new
Hey guys... I'm new to the forum... and I'm also new to serious poker... that is to say that I am new to thinking about how I play and such... Right now, I seem to have a confidence problem and I was looking for some advice:
I used to play a lot of home games... I loved it, and I always did pretty well at those games, but I never gave it much thought because home games don't really mean much IMO... I took about 2 years off and now I'm back in the game... I have a lot of fun, and I've been tracking my stats religiously... However... right now I'm even money... I just had a $700 downslide and I'm starting to doubt my play... I think I'm pretty solid, but I just can't seem to get past the hurdle of losing as much as I win... I'm sitting at around 100 hours in the last month (only because my job takes up too much time :P) and I was just wondering if anyone could lend some advice that got them through the push to where you make money instead of giving back what you earn...
FYI i usually play 4-8 limit at the BM casinos - pretty soft competition at my local casino in Vancouver, BC
Any words of wisdom are very appreciated
