Weather and Casino attendance?
Looking out my window and I'm wondering about how weather like this affects Casino attendance. Do people stay away from Casinos because of the issues involving getting to the building from home? Or are they more likely to seek shelter in-doors in the storm?

That being said, one of my best poker experiences was a great 5-10 game we had while we were snowed in at Brantford about 3 years ago.
Not sure why this increases the volume, perhaps locals figure that if they have to stay indoors, why not hit the felt...
By around 11 pm, we had 1 empty seat at our table (and one at the other 2/5) and it stayed the rest of the night with an empty board. I left at 12:15 and there were 6 left at my table when I cashed out.
So I'd say it has an impact, I'm waiting to see if as the winter progresses it nullifies the effect (people get used to dealing with the snow so they don't mind driving in it), though I was sitting next to a guy from London so the weather didn't put everyone off. On a poker note, he played almost every hand to the showdown and was up over 320 when I left, combined with 1600 in slots his wife/kid had won and his drive home was a happy one I bet.
I'm sure some OLGC stat can show it.
Summer shitty weather = attendance up
Winter shitty weather = attendance down
