Vegas Xmas Vacation or?

hey everyone

Going to be going on Vacation for Christmas, kinda a last minute thing.

So far THEhotel (Mandalay) has the nod. 2 Room suites and this time the family is coming. Looking at about $3300 incl flights from Toronto for 6 nights.

any where else you would suggest?

Must be 4+ stars (no circus, hilton, tropicana etc)
Must be a two room suite -
Want to be close to the strip as the family during the day poker at night

The other idea is heading South - Mexico or Carribean -
Here they must have a casino with NL poker


Any ideas? New Mexico? Orlando? etc etc?

    If you can wait a week later, Bahamas has a whole wack of tournies (PCA & WPS).

    Atlantis in the Bahamas; one of the best resorts in the world, hands down. Casino on the property and full facilities for the family. 5 star easy.

    It is also $6500 US for 4 nights, plus air.

    I am going there for the EPT in January.

    Thinking some of the casinos in the dominican, or other hotel options in vegas.

    I guess for one of the larger rooms it would be pretty expensive. Not sure what their poker room is like. I was also trying to see what other Caribbean islands have decent casinos.
