No Limit Tournaments at Brantford?

Hey guys, I couldn't find anything googling and there does not seem to be any listed on the Brantford site... but are there any lo limit tournaments being held there? Is there a website I can look at and choose a tournament to play?

Same question for Fallsview.

    Do you have a Players Club card? They usually mail out a list of Tournaments and such....

    OLG Casino Brantford has the best-value tournaments in Ontario, so hopefully, their MTT satellites will start sooner rather than later for their next week-long event sometime in 2008. Unfortunately, CB does not have its own web site.

    See http://www.canadianpokertour.tv/cpt/events.asp for the list of Canadian Poker Tour tournaments. Unfortunately, most Ontario casinos neglect to register their tournaments as a CPT event for free, so even if Fallsview Casino will have any tournaments before next fall's WPT NAPC, you won't see it listed.

    I'm starting to get depressed by answering your questions, but unfortunately, the only Ontario casino tournament worth playing in the foreseeable future is the Great Blue Heron Casino T.O.C. on December 11-12. Unfortunately for the fourth time, ;) the buy-in is $2,100 so it is too much for most forumers unless there is a home game satellite for it.

    By the way, I have never been mailed a list of tournaments from any of the casinos whose players' cards I have.

    AFAIK, WPT's contract with any casino's it signs with states that it cannot host any other "Tour's Tournament" (aka: exclusively hosts WPT and not WSOP/PPT etc). But again, thats just from reading stuff online and I could be wrong. Maybe Fallsview or 13Cards can clarify that if I am.

    Hey BlondeFish... how do I find out when the Brantford tournaments are going to be held? There is nothing currently on the Canadian Poker Tour list for 2008. Also is there another list that covers satellites?

    I don't have a players card. I should get one as I plan to visit Brantford more often.

    My suggestion is to phone Casino Brantford occasionally to find out when they have decided on the next tournament. The Ultimate Poker Challenge satellites and tournaments were poorly publicized last time, and it took me a whole month to find out and play my first satellite. Satellites are part of most casino tournaments, so there is no separate list that I know of.

    they usually hold the Winter Classic in January (last held Jan 2007) but when I called last month, there was no news of any upcoming tournaments. Maybe not selling out the Fall Classic tournaments has made them re-think their tournament strategy going forward.
