pokerstars bad beats

Has anyone noticed there are way more bad beats and stars then ever before. I play $16 nl single table turbos. There used to be 3 or 4 bad beats every tournament. Know i'm seeing 10 to 20 per game which is crazy. My buddy got so mad he cashed out there and refuses to play there. There loss he gambled about 2or 3 k a week. Anyone else find this true thanks :banghead:

I've noticed that tendency too. I think UB seems more random in the "random number generator" department than Stars. Specifically on the river. lol

Badbeats are what? Everytime someone comes from behind to win? I would disagree. A beadbeat to me is when KK beats AA or something similar with terrible odds. Think of it this way ... AA holds-up about 50% of the time when against one player with a random hand. So every time you see AA hold up expect to see lose. That's poker!

This is equivalent to saying that AA is the average starting hand in holdem.

LOL ... a pair of Aces is only average when all five cards are taken into account. What makes AA or big pairs powerfull is when you can get it against other big hands.

Anyway bad example. The point I was trying to get across is that best hand is only the best hand when all the cards are down.

I lose on Poker Stars all the time. I don't lose as often on other sites. I can't explain it except to say that the only games I play on Pokerstars are the Pokerforum.ca member tournaments.


Man are those guys fishy. I get hit with bad beats all the time!

Well if you want a possible (and i stress possible) explanation that doesn't include the iluminati, poker bots or pokerstars personally having it out for you.

it may just be that with another WSOP on tv and another winner from pokerstars you're just getting an inflow of new players. This will adjusting the level of play at lower limits down momentarily. I would expect that for new palyers who usually are action junkies (hmmmm ... sounds like me) something like the low limit turbos are a great spot to play.

thus increasing the suckouts and other factors that may happen more often.

i just cashed out my account. tonite was the final straw. i lost with AA to KK AA QQ AA JJ AA 88 and antime i had KK QQ JJ I bet hard got beat by aces. I let them know what i thought

lol, what do you expect them to do? reimburse you for your bad beats? fix the algorithm so you river other people?

i'll go play party where they have bad beat tables if i have a real bad beat i'll be rewarded
