Victoria and Nanaimo Poker

I dont see alot of people on here from the Island in BC..probably because we didnt have poker in our casinos here but if anyone is interested last week Nanaimo and Victoria both installed two new Lightning Poker tables.
For those of you unfamiliar with them check them out on their website...they are electronic tables with LCD touch screens..no chips, no cards, no dealers.

I have to say I am more of a fan of live poker than internet. I like the feel of chips and cards so I was a bit skeptical but Lightning Poker was pretty cool. No dealer mistakes, faster hands and no tipping..all +EV if you ask me.

I will be playing more when I get a chance but I was able to see some distinct tells still from the players...different ones than the usual chip and card tells but players still exhibit familiar facial and body tells. In some cases when free of their chip and card habits some players showed brutally obvious tells.

I dont want this post to get too long but it would be cool if some other players with some Lightning Poker experience want to chat about it and poker in general on the Island.

Like I said I dont have alot of experience with the tables just yet (and I'm still a growing learning player too..farrrr from being an expert on poker) but if you have any general questions I can try and answer them.

Yeah and the overt collusion on electronic tables is sweet too
