Announcing a poker tournament charity event for the 97 Toronto JR. Canadiens AAA Hockey Team.

Date: October 25, 2007

Where: Paramount Conference and Event Centre
222 Rowntree Dairy Road, Woodbridge

Time: 6:30pm registration and dinner and the Tournament will start at 8:00pm

Event Fee: $100.00 will include a Buffet dinner, Open bar and poker chips.

Unlimited Rebuys $50.00 for the first hour and one optional Add-on for $50.00

Tournament Details: Cash prizes awarded to all winners.

    It will help if you state how much goes to the price pool (or what is the cash prizes).

    Please note that unless this so-called "charity" event has gone through all the expensive and bureaucratic process of getting approved for a lottery license number, it is illegal. Unless you don't mind a visit from the poker-is-evil :( authorities, it no longer makes sense to broadcast the location and organizer information.

    Hmm I wasnt sure if that was legal or not.

    Same thing happened to me for London Poker charity events

    Anyways good luck with the event and be careful, I am sure everything will go smooth

    Poker, unless there is no rake or profit taken by the house is illegal. Plain and simple. No matter what way you cut it or try to excuse it away. I have delalt with OLG and they do not license Texas Holdem'.

    It cuts into their profits.
