I'm quitting poker for a while...

since our second kid was born on September 27th.

My wife seems to think that kids are a priority over poker.

Logan is a 6lb 9oz future poker player. I'm trying to teach him but he can't even ruffle the chips yet.

I'll be out of the forum and home games for a while. See you guys soon.

  • Congratulations to you and the Mrs. from Jenn and I. Have fun getting to know your new son - poker will still be here when you come back.
  • Congrats Quimby.
  • Congrats Quimby! Only 2/5 of the way to catch the beanie/kanga babies :D
  • Congrats man!! All the best to you and your expanding family!
  • to you and yours.

  • Congratulations!

I taught my friend's daughter to lie about what cards I was holding..ie: "Kristy you have two the same, and LOOK! There's another one right there!"

    Nobody suspects the toddlers! :D

    Congrats on the new addition.

Really glad you're taking some time off. I haven't won a thing since the first time I played you in the heads up at Bristol. You have been my personal nemesis since then. Logan might resurrect my poker game.
  • Thanks for all the well wishes. Everything's going great at home.

I'm back at *sigh* work now.

And Dave, you'll just have to plow through your losing streak. Just keep making the right decisions and it'll work out eventually.

Congrats on the second child. As a dad of 2 myself I can assure you that wife + kids can co-exist with poker. (though probably not right now)
