Also, what amazes me the most is I have not had QQ,KK,AA or AK in all of both tourneys

In the first hand, I assume by readable you put the dude on a flush draw. If so, then why are you giving a free card on the turn and why bet the river? The only hand that calls you there, beats you. Do you really think you knocked him off a pair there, by checking the turn and weak betting the river? He could have easily been check/calling Kcrap there.
The only possible reason to check the turn would be to induce a bluff on the river that you were planning to call.
I used to play those all the time and after a while I realised that I lost more money than I won.
If you want quick tournament without the all-in madness I suggest you try the 1 table 6 max sng ... it's about the same time as a 18 person sng (granted, less money if you win) and it's less of an all-in game.
