Just need to rant, bad beats all night..

RRRGGG this is making me mad, after hiting a Q high flush and losing alot of money to a K high flush (ace on the board) I pretended to go on tilt and went all in preflop with QQ knowing i would have a donk caller (its a freeroll)..
well this is just my luck..

i know its a freeroll, but its a 1,572,00$ freeroll :|

  • Your title says Bad beats all night, then at the same time you post HH of you pushing with garbage (other than the QQ) and catching. What exactly is your point?

That and the fact that there are no bad beats in freerolls.
  • im not gonna post all the bad beats, i posted that hand cuz it was the 3rd one where i was well ahead when the chips went in...
then i posted my 2nd thing that i was happy about, and the shove was good because i knew some donk would call..
the 2nd thing was dumb, i just feld like posting a bad beat on someone else :)
  • Nothing personal, but everyone would be much happier if you didn't post any bad beats. Truthfully, no one cares. Have a nice day though :) and best of luck not having any bad beats to post.

Hands that suck out with against 99:1 odds are teh awesome. Otherwise, it's all standard and very meh.

Of course, if you had questions about how to play it differently, that's something else.
  • For future reference, calling someone else a donk in a freeroll only proves that you basically have no money.
  • I love bad beat stories. GIVE ME MORE!

Or have no way for the next few weeks of depositing..
  • That response confirms my hypothesis.

    Thanks
  • your welcome, i wont post this again, but next time you can just ignore a topic like this.
  • Bad karma. You purposely tried to entice a donk to call; the poker gods obliged and then punished you. ;)

No way, good acting ;) lol
  • Is it a bad beat when I call a preflop raise with my fav hand Q9, flop comes QQ9, guy poooshes all in (I have him covered), I call (obv) and he turns over 55.

    Turn 5
    River 5.

Is that still a bad beat? No. I had no business in the hand preflop, other than the fact that I have this compulsion to never (almost never) fold my fav hand preflop. The fact that I had a flop from the poker gods does not change the fact that I shouldn't have even been in the hand in the first place. The turn and the river cards were poker gods reminding me of that.

Yes, because you were a huge favourite to win when the $ went in.

  • MDS,

Hope things are going well and I will see you soon!

Now on the question at hand. Lets say you are UTG and have Q9 and raise 4.5 x's the BB and get one caller. Everyone folds except one of the Blinds and he calls. He push with 3 over cards. He has to be trying to steal here. AQ; AJ, A9, and any pocket pair above 55 are all hands to raise pre flop here.

This is a bad beat plain and simple.

    What suit were they?
  • Sorry Brett,

just re read the pre- flop raise part. If you are last to act? Who much is the raise. You are a good player and don't need cards to play back at someone. This is a bad beat. It is tough for me to believe that he thought he had this hand won.
