I am placing but cannot quite make it to the top

I have been playing online poker for abou 3 months now. I have been placing in tourney but i cannot make it into the top 10. If anyone has any thoughts or if they can give me some pointers it would e greatly apreciated. Also I have heard about people using odds calculators in money games to give them an extra edge. How do these work , and where can i find a good one?

i would but am typing with 1 hand.
to place higher, play more agressive when the blinds are decently high. You will place less high in average (possibly) but you will place well when you do.
