Atlantic City Trip in October
My wife and I (with another couple) are heading to New York for a weekend in October. On the Monday they are flying back to London and I am heading to AC for 3 nights.
My plan is to play only 1 tournament a day. (I plan on grinding it out on ring tables at least 12hrs a day).
I would appreciate if any of you could offer some insight into the tournaments you have played. ie; Casino and blind structures. I would of course prefer to play in tournaments that are not all-in fests.
As well I love to eat (steakhouses and Italian are my favourites) and would like to hear where and where not to dine.
Thanks,
Dave

I have found and most of my friends agree that Borgata has the best play for your money as tournamnet poker goes.
Here are some links..

Wow $80+20, $60+15.
Way too much rake!!
No way anyone should even consider ever paying that high a rake?
But at least structure is playable that you can justify paying that high of a rake.
GL when you go in October...I'll let you know my two cents when I get back next week sometime...
Dude, $15 bucks to play a tourney at the borgata.. That doesn't even pay for the power to light your table for the 4 hours you'll be there :-)

Thats the story of my tournament(i had 85k behind after i lost this one) and Ramdin had showed down the following in this level: Aces 3x already(four with this one), queens 3x, jacks 2x... I failed you Canada...
"Known all over as a player in seat one"
I am staying at the Trump Marina for $99/night. It doesn't have a poker room which sucks but it's a hell of a lot cheaper than at the Borgata.
