Here is another guy who stole blinds at a 50%+ rate, so when I went after his, I figured he would defend fairly strongly so it was a pretty easy calldown.

First hand you see that, you know the guy is an atm

One pair, mediocre kicker. I fully expected the guy to roll over an Acrap. I had position so I could have fired again but this is probably more an example of where multi-tabling costs some very thin value bets because you don't have a full read on every player so the safer play was to check behind because again without a full read, I probably pay off a c/r.

Fortunately in this case, unlikely he pays off that bet. So for me, when multi-tabling, I'd rather check behind potentially costing me $20 on the some times that he pays off that bet, then bet and pay off a c/r costing me $40. We can do a Sklansky analysis on that but I'd also have to factor in the lack of complete reads.
  • One pair, mediocre kicker.

Well actually, I'd argue that you have 2nd pair and 2nd best kicker. Which IMO seems huge vs a bad player. Although you're probably right that vs. an aggressive player like this you walk into a CR when he does spike the A and have to pay off 2 here. (Although I can also see giving him a chance to bluff CR the river here with junk on occaision).

OOP I probably check-call vs an aggressive player giving him a chance to bluff the A with worse pairs and missed draws. Last to act I'll usually value bet if checked to though (although I do walk into CR's here too much).

Against a passive player I'll generally bet both in and out of position though (folding to a raise).
  • That is just absolutely nuts... I cant believe he kept doing that hand after hand... Congrats on finding this guy.
