  • And that's why slowplaying KK causes cancer

  • I like the limp with Pocket Kings
  • Man why can't I ever get paid off like that.

Not a terrible play UTG at an aggressive or horribly loose table. You know the kind, where people will call with any suited Ace-rag?

The river push was pretty dumb though. I'm thinking there is some history there.

How many times do you flop the virtually immortal nuts when someone flops the virtually immortal 2nd nuts?

Totally read dependent but I would have been inclined to bet every street here. Pretty much any PP will call up to some threshold on the flop and 1 or 2 possibly the turn. I doubt KK would have even tried to chase the weaker hand out with a raise. Once you get called on the flop and turn, KK, QQ, any J, possibly even a T calls a big bet. I wouldn't risk missing any value here.

    NH!
  • I think the million dollar question is...

What hands will call this ridiculous overbet? I don't think he asked himself that question. Who calls this bet getting virtually 1-1 on the money when they don't have a A?

After the hand he typed in, "Coolered."

    I lol'd
  • Exactly! QQ maybe but I don't know. From the way it was played, possibly someone with a J hoping to chop but that would be way dumb.

Say instead, you switch roles. You have KK and re-raise to 7 instead of pushing. Now your opponent re-re-raises you to X. At what $ amount do you call vs re-re-re-raise? In the 150BB range, is there enough money left to figure out you are beat or are all the chips going in anyway? This would be an interesting situation with 500BB stacks.

That's when you type in 'horribly misplayed' and put him on super tilt.
