Hand for review
Hello everyone.. This is my first post on this site. I have been lurking here for a while and thought I would give it a try .. I play mostly low limit on line usually at stars...A hand I played tonight is bugging me, because I am not sure if I played it perfectly or played it so terrible that every street possibly could have been played differently... The game is $2-$4 holdem ten handed, I am on the big blind and have Th 7h.. UTG a decent player but a little crazy raises. It then goes Call, Call, fold, fold, fold, fold, SB calls, and I call on the BB (?). Five players see the flop.($20).. Flop is (9h 2h Tc). Small Blind bets, I raise, UTG folds, fold, call, and Small blind calls. Three players to see the turn ($32). Turn is 6h.. (YAY I made my flush) SB bets, I raise, fold, SB reraises, I call...I thought that turn card was my dream card but not laying it down. 2 players see the River ($56). River is Td. Small Blind checks, I check. Small blind shows Ad 9s for two pair and my heart flush takes down $56 less the rake.... What do think is this Ok or is this horrible....BE Honest

After pre-flop, though you played it well. I like the raise on the flop. You have a weak top pair with a flush draw and need to know where you stand. (I think it may also disguise the fact that you're on a flush draw.
Without knowing anything about the SB, the re-raise on the turn is scary. At that point he's representing the made flush, or possibly trips/two-pair (and less likely, the single Ah)
I can only assume he didn't put you on the flush and I think was trying to push you off your hand. The board pairing on the river as well as the SB's check on the river screams trap and your check was the correct play as there are a number of hands that will beat you at this point; any higher flush, or a full house when the board paired.
I also like the check, not only because of the scary board, but also because it forces the SB to reveal his hand to you. A bet would have certainly got him to fold and the info that he called middle-pair to the river on a board like that is worth the lost $4.
