Is this playing too tight?

I was playing a 2-5 NL game at Fallsview last Saturday night. 6 players limp to the BB who raises to $50 total. Folds around to the button, who mucks pocket Kings face up. Now that is some tight play. The BB has a big grin on his face as he rakes an uncontested pot.

    Have to agree there.
    WTF limp with Kings if you aren't going to re-pop it.

    I'd be in that pot so fast, I'd probably push out of turn.

    very tight, for sure. If you lose all your money with KK against AA, that is just bad luck. You would be ahead pre-flop most of the time with these starting cards. I have seen someone fold trip Aces at the turn as he was worried the other player might hit his flush on the river.

    Let's count the mistakes the button actually did...

    1) Thought he could play poker
    2) Doesn't understand a simple hand ranking chart
    3) Sat down to a poker game
    4) LIMPED
    5) Limped ON THE BUTTON
    6) Limped on the button with KK
    7) Didn't recognize BB as someone who read a poker article somewhere at sometime
    8 Thought he was making a good fold
    9) Folded cowboys
    10) FACE UP!! (this has got to be most STUPID thing he could have done)

    And finally...

    11) KEPT PLAYING!!

    Jesus, where is this game??
