  • His call preflop was pretty shaky, but then an UTG raise with 22 is as well. His flop call is sort of bad but if he puts you on AK (sort of what everyone seems to put everyone else on these days), it is not that unreasonable.

    His turn play is not too bad actually given his straight and flush draw, plus he may incorrectly think his overcards are live. You likely fold a lot of hands there that have him beat.

    As river suckouts go this was hardly that horrific, he did have about a dozen outs, I have seen about 6 worse so far in the Stars rebuy tonight (including one where I did a nice 4 outer when hopelessly desperate in chips and all in!).

    Original post reminded me of when I played at a party 5/10 BBJ table about 2 years ago that had an average VPIP of over 60% with basically no preflop raising (except me). I got crushed :P.
