Eleanor was playing poker at the Golden Nugget the day her birthday arrived (12:01 am).
She also got a little birthday gift by finishing 6th at the Omaha Hi/Lo tournament at the Orleans.
Well congrats Eleanor! So how did you like that tournament? The TD on the day I played it was a tall lady from here in Ontario, can't recall if she was from the Soo or Sudbury. Their tournaments seem well run, think there was about 75 entrants when I played it. How many did you have?

The TD was a lady not sure where she was from but she was tall so she may have been the same one. (She knew most of the local players so I assume she was the only TD.)
The final table was Eleanor, I and all locals. A few of them were looking for a chop as soon as we got to the final table but a few others wanted to wait out the short stacks, when we got to 4 after I knocked out the last short stack and became the chip leader (but not by much) then the “no’s” changed their minds.
I think there were about 60 players in that game and it was really well run as you stated.
Only had one problem and it was when we had a new dealer deal for us, he was new as it was his first day and really didn’t know the game of Omaha Hi/Lo. We had to explain to him how to chop the pots up and how to award them a few times (one player all-in in a 3 handed pot where the other two players quartered the low.)
I didn’t know there were bounties but thankful there were because I knocked out 7 players and got me a $5 chip per knock out.
Overall it was a great game and I was disappointed that we only got the chance to play it once.
