actually we cannot speak of rake here.....rake....whats that?
but everything remains from the old location.....
it's just that now the setting is a private social club where proceeds go to pay for food rent staff and "such". The place is not owned....it is owned an run by everyone. A few good men staff the joint but everyone of its members kicks a little in on the nights they use the place to keep the place open.
I thought it fitting to bring our game there....to a place where the collective cared about the setting, and took a little pride in the fact that it would remain open to all its members....even at lunch and such to come by and have a coffee or pop or whatever. watch some tv......and know that everything is paid for.....
a refreshing change to the harsh world of underground life. we all make money for our time....but the appraoch is a more of a family feeling.
To know avail, as I went out in 7th. Top 5 got paid..

the club is only a temp location but all the ammenities are in place......

Tourney was very tight. I was not.

Pre flop raise(s) (sorry I forget the $$) with 5 players to the flop: Q5X
Bet, 3 callers.
Turn X, small straight now possible, 2 card flush draw on board.
Utg bets only $20 into a pot at least $200, 2 callers.
River: Q. Now a possible flush.
Utg bets $20, call, raise $30, utg folds, player B calls and his straight loses to the flush.
UTGs buddy is freaking out becase he saw the cards he folded. Q5 confirmed. He lost a $300+ pot because he was not paying attention. Possibly because he was stoned..

It was a good night, thanks Josh. I made the final table which was the wildest final table I've ever played at. Nick the river master dealer certainly made things interesting. Good Luck Compuease I hope you take this down.
The only reason I wouldn't make it is because I am playing in another tournament starting today at 2 so if it goes long and I'm still in it may change my plans. Jeff.
