Making a IRL roll

Hello,

I have been playing online poker for several months now, and built a nice roll for the .25/.5 NL tables (more than 20 max buyins).

Now I have 3 options.

1: continue playing and just withdraw my profit and spend it on junk
2: Continue to build it up and prepare to move to .5/1 tables or
3: withdraw my profit, and start making a IRL poker bank roll.

I don't really need the money to buy junk, so that one's pretty much out. 2 and 3 are really what I'm thinking about...

You see I want to make a irl roll so I can start playing in B&Ms, but I don't want to put my pay cheque towards making the roll. I have never played in a Casino, or even a real home game, so I don't know how much I'd need to cover the limits and such. I like 20-30 buyins for NL (comfortable). Where can I even play NL in BC? What are the lowest blinds/limits at these places?

The other concern I have, is the rake in the B&Ms... I heard that playing in Casinos is only really profitable in the higher stakes, because the rake isn't as big a deal there...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Guts

  • yer gonna need a lot of cash to enter a car in the Indy Racing League...
  • hmmm,

Lol! I forgot something very important. I multi table, which's why I like 20-30 max buyins for some fluctuations...

I guess I wouldn't need this for B&Ms, eh? So how many buyins do you guys recommend for IRL NL??

lol 20-30 for 1 table... good stuff :).
