WSOP PPV NOT available on Viewer's Choice in Canada

That's right, this year it isn't available. How sickening. Here is the email I received from them:

"Dear Ryan,

Thank you for your email. Here at Viewer's Choice Canada, it is always
a pleasure to hear from our subscribers and to address any questions you
may have.

Poker events have always proven to be popular with our viewers.
Unfortunately, however, we were not able to obtain the broadcast rights
for this year's event."

So, they can afford the rights to about a billion porn movies but not this event. Awesome. Why the hell do we get constantly screwed on poker coverage in Canada? My blood is boiling over this one. Does anyone from this forum know anyone at Viewer's Choice? Is there any way we can get a lobby going here?

so did the price go up that much for it this year that they cannot afford.

I don't want it online. I stare at my computer screen for enough time, I don't need 12+ extra hours of staring at my computer screen when I have a Plasma TV sitting there. I want someone to provide a reason why Viewer's Choice can't cover this event. It's a Pay Per View. Why can't they "get the rights"?

I looked on bell expressvu PPV and they appear to have the rights and it costs 19.99.
