Hello Everyone, I would like to introduce myself!
Hello Everyone,
I just tried to post again and it was lost in transmission...so here I go again!!!
Hello my name is Drew, and I am from/live in Denver, Colorado U.S.A. I met Sloth/Kanadian in a rather fun game other than poker (who woulda thought). He mentioned his website and I decided to post!
I play poker for a living, atleast I have this month. I am recently married as of March 20th 2004, which is worth mentioning in itself but also people feel I am a little young for the ole ball and chain routine (20yo rounding 21) but when you found the one, it is wonderful, we dont get to pick the age of when we do find that someone. She is amazing and is letting me attempt this poker adventure so month one has gone well I paid all the bills by the 5th of the month (hopefully the rest can be so easy hehe wishful thinking)
I play Hold'em and Omaha (hi low and hi). I play on PokerStars.com and play in live games around Denver. I just today finished building a custom table for my own home games with my younger brother (I am oldest of 6 kids WOW is right!). I hope to get a friendly game started on this Friday to kinda kick off the home game scene, before I host some higher rollers.
I have been playing poker for rounding the corner of 2 years now. I very much love the game, the people, the history and the future I see in this great game. It has given me so much already. I cant see myself being involved in much else outside of poker as far as a career goes. It has given me time to write and enjoy some chess (yes I am one of those nerdy brainiac types)
As for the screen name, it is a nickname I received back when I worked for Starbucks( coffee company for those who dont know) and won a prestigous award for legendary service. My boss put this nickname on my name tag for all to see, and the great compliment just kinda stuck and it made for a great screen name as it was taken anywhere I looked.
I love to talk poker, life and all in between, so feel free to ask questions, email me or contact me on AOL Instant Messenger @ TheMrLegendary. I am rather hard to find on Yahoo or MSN as I am not on but 1-2 times a week.
I really appreciate you all listening to my post, I have been up for over 30 hours now and I am wiped from all that table building. So good luck at the tables everyone and thank you kindly for reading this lengthy post!!!
P.S. I apologize for all my typos and mispelled words, the sun is coming up again and the pillow has not yet seen my face (not sure if the pillow is upset over it or not yet) HEHE good night! take care and most of all Carpe Diem
