Something different.

In an attempt to add something to this community I thought I would try this out. Here's my idea; guess the hands of the players at showdown. Feel free to comment on the play of anyone at the table. I will add the rest of the hand history as comments come in.

Tourney info:
I can not remeber the buy-in but I do know it was a Single Table SnG. Probably in the $50 - $100 range with 9 players. This is hand 12 and the villian hasn't done a whole bunch...but I have just won a nice pots with 89o floping the nuts.

  • I've seen similar plays :as :ks in low limit Sngs. I don't think you cold called PF with Big Slick.

So maybe you had :3s :4s and he had :as :ks?
  • i would probly put you on 55 or 66.
since he raise you on the flop and bet the turn, you are not worry about flush or straight. and let him bet himself to death.
the other guy, i put him on two pair.
    60% KJ 30%QJ, 10% AA or KK
  • So this didn't really generate much discussion I'll post the hands and tell me what you think.

Apparently, I was playing loosey goosey and limped with 10 7 spades. I don't mind my play but it is very loose throughout the turn. I'm not crazy about the turn call when the villian only has 585 left.

The villian is on crack imo. His hand is Jh Jd! A good reason not to be so passive with high/mid pockets.

Villian played the hand well, and raised the flop, bet the turn properly and called what reeked of a bad bluff on the river.

You never should have been there (drawing) after the turn bet.
  • Fault villain for limping in with a pretty decent pair behind 3 limpers, but other than that he played it as he should have. You chased and caught on the river.

Nice hand. Keep up the good work.
  • Sorry, I specifically meant preflop. Nothing else to do after that.
