I actually had worked up my 3000 starting chips to 4000 after 1 level of play.
The first hand I played at level 2 i got my money in with 77% equity against this Dutch kid Peter Dalhuijsen, He had already busted 3 players in level 1, and after beating me his stack was well over 20000 chips which Im certain was twice as much as the second place guy at the time.
Not sure if you guys know this game, but getting money in with 77% equity is basically unheard of as far as I've seen in my experineces. The kid was running good and playing every pot, o well.
Huuuge congrats to SirWatts for his result, so damn close bud!
I was looking for him, but have never met him in person, and wasn't certain it was in fact him, since he didn't look too much like his photo on MSN or especially didn't look like his old pic from his stars avatar chewin' on the stogie.
Today, you guys should cheer for Lucasz at this PLO/8 final table.
He is a kid from Toronto and has been a PLO/8 player exclusively for many years, i really like his chances.
Im registered to play the 2000 NL event on Friday and I think i may try the SHOE event a few days later as well. I have never won at pokerstars so I need to play my way into the main event while Im here. It would sure be nice to have won 21 main event seats, or whatever SirWatts ended up with, but main event seats' have eluded me year after year.
