    McGowan will get more than 1 before his career ends.

    But atleast it was a 1 hit complete game shutout and he didn't implode like I've seen alot of pitchers do when the no-no gets broken up.

    Amazingly, every other Jays 1 hitter that was lost in the 9th inning came in September.

    And the only Jay to ever throw a no no was Dave Stieb, who threw it on September 2.

    McGowan broke a very strange trend.
