My company down here in Burlington had 35 people put in $10 each for last Saturday's draw, and of course we won a whopping $92 or so. Put that into the draw for Wednesday and won a lovely "Please play again" or whatever.
Anyway, it turns out that one of the two winning tickets Wednesday belonged to three Burlington friends & neighbours, and THEY just happen to all be friends and neighbours (20 years) of the girl here at work that organizes OUR friggen 649 pools. I'm told they've each already invested $6 million and are earning $700 / day in interest, and plan to 'have a little fun' with the remaining $670,000.
I'm pretty sure that 2 degrees of separation is the closest I'll ever get to the millions!
