I knew someone was on the flush, but if I moved all-in would they call me?

Comments

  • I threw up a little after the flop check and my eyeballs actually burned out of my head on the turn check.
  • Raise pre-flop, 100% pot the flop, 100% pot the turn.

Trust me, you can extract a full stack against a lot of hands. You pretty much managed to win as little as possible given their hands.

Leave the ultra fancy tricky play for levels where straight forward play does not yield the best results.

    Right on.

You have to bet that flop and make the bingo chasing flush monkeys pay. As well with Low Buyin's you can almost guarantee that someone has an Ace.

I'd probably only 1/2 pot the turn to try and bring them along.

    Pot it on the river.
Again many flushes will call (or even shove all in)
  • Dude, if the club had come on the turn first, you never would have posted this hand, because you would have had to lay your hand down against any reasonable player and you wouldn't have gotten to the river, unless you made a donkey call. Never let a set lose to a flush draw. Bet 3/4 - pot on the flop. Chips are your life in a tournament. There is lots of A-crap out there that hits 2 pr or a pr + flush draw that calls or re-pops here. If not, then you aren't likely having anyone catch up and making you any more bets anyways. Without the FH, catching up means they beat you.
  • Thanks guys, your all right. I should have bet somewhere along the way, instead of the river.

I could have extracted alot of chips away from AK at least on the Flop and Turn.
