my over 10k HH review

i can beat the game
but i'm making very tiny profits.
let just say, my monthly rakeback are more then my monthly profit.

my day to day poker cycle.
take money from strong players, then give it to fishes, so they can give it back to strong players with interest.
how come?
strong player lay their hand down, when they know i have them beat.
how does fish take my money.
most frequent
1) call my raise with trash, and hit hard on the flop. of course, i hit hard, and wants all his money.
most recent one.(today)
23 vs 55 in a raising pot. Flop A45.
I do not think that i'm been out play here, anybody can win big here, even fishes.
2) fish caught a peice on the flop, and decide to call me down to the river. then river or turn me.
are the card fair?
of course. i win 80% of the time that i enter the pot.
i take down small pot on the flop. or ok size pot on the turn.
when i lose, it's entire buy-in or at least double them up.
how can i improve?
I need help, any advise will be taken.
a good portion of players that took my money are been lable as fish by PT.
Love poker, but hate the game.

frankly i don't want to believe this too
    the problem is.....
when you take money away from good players, it's just a pot.
when you lose money to good players, it's just a pot.
    now Fish
    when they flop big hand
they bet small, so it won't cost alot to draw to beat them.
when they flop a drawing hand, they will call to the end.
that sux for me, because i make very expensive for anybody to draw on me, I am usually punished for deny them the odds to draw, and beat me.
i'm getting fish bit, and....it's hurting me.
  • strong player lay their hand down, when they know i have them beat.

I know why you can't beat the level you are playing at.

HINT: your logic is fatally flawed.

    i know i have a problem but i just can't find it.

I like the implication that it's just a minor tweak you need to make in order to right the ship... I think you probably need to demolish everything you think you know about poker and start over..

    1) You don't understand variance
    2) You don't understand where your winnings come from at the table
    3) You don't understand player types

Frankly, there's so many more that the only thing I can do is recommend you pick up a Theory of Poker book and actually try to understand the game you are playing at some level other than "Did I win or lose this hand".

It's nicer than telling OP to move up in limits, "Where people respect your raises". That's always awesome advice... :)

The problem is, why would you make players you have beat, lay their hand down? You want to force them to lay their hand down when they are ahead and get them to call bets when you have them beat.

that is one of the problem, i am playing scare poker.
somehow, there is this thing in my head, i need to get it out.....
"i believe, if i don't take it down, i'll lose it by the river"
i know this is not a very profitable poker, but.........win little is better then lost alot.....i don't know....i suck.

    It's nice site
    after reading it.
i figure some of my biggest problem.
I try to win Hands instead of money.
one of my buddy told me that he rather win 1 double up, and lose 5 small pot.
where i have been winning 5 small pots and lose 1, but that one lost, it's my buy-in...

    I like this suggestion.

Read the book and keep asking questions.
